Mat Classes:
A Pilates mat class,
which uses your own body weight for resistance. These classes assist in
improving core strength and overall flexibility. You will also use
Pilates apparatus during the class. There are different levels of mat
work to fit your needs. Beginner, Intermediate, Advance and Mixed
abilities.
Boot Camp
Pilates: You will be using
weights and resistance to increase muscle tone and definition. More
muscles means a faster metabolism which burn more fat. Even when you
sleep!
Pilates on the Ball: This class
focus on your balance, strength and core stability. Great class if you
want to challenge your body.
Standing Pilates with Tye4:
Standing Pilates was created by Joan Breibart, founder of PhysicalMind
Institute New York that we represent in Europe. Standing Pilates is more
functional and practical than ordinary mat classes as you continually
focus on posture. It also helps develop co-ordination and
balance in relation to gravity.
Benefits of the work include building stronger bones, better balance,
great for pelvic floor, conditioning and improved posture. It will
definitely give you flatter abs, tone legs and buttocks, a longer leaner
look. We use the Tye4 which is a bungees that attach to your hand and
feet to give you resistance.
Disco Pilates: If getting tone and
having fun in a class is your kind of thing, this class is for you! Cardio
moves combined with Pilates on disco music. Fame is back with leg warmers
and dancing queens!
Combo Pilates: 20min Mat Pilates, 20min on a Ball and 20min
Standing. A real challenge!
Pregnancy Pilates:
Pilates works
on some of the most important muscle groups for pregnancy. These are the
abdominals, pelvic, and back muscles, which are used greatly during the
entire pregnancy period as well as labour. Feel strong
and pain free as your body is changing.
Mum and Baby Pilates: Come and
enjoy spending time with your baby as you are getting back into shape.
We will be working on pelvic floor, core stability and over whole body.
Children and Teen Pilates: By the
age of 6, children can start having a poor posture. Sitting at school
all day long and not exercising enough are some of the reasons for this.
While gaining incredible popularity with adults, the Pilates Method also
offers a range of benefits to children. These benefits are increased
strength and flexibility of the abdominal and inner muscles of the body.
It is a basis for improving posture and spinal alignment, increasing
strength and flexibility. We are offering a children class for 6 to 9
years old and a Teen class for 10 to 17 years old.
Privates, Semi

our range of Pilates and GYROTONIC equipment.
Duet: Pilates on the equipment for two
people. You, your partner or friend.
Semi Privates: Up to 4 people using Pilates
equipment and GYROTONIC. This is an alternative to private sessions. It
is cheaper and social at the same time.
Reformer class: Up to 4 people using the

Pilates for men/ Semi privates: If you think Pilates is just for women think
again! Joseph Pilates was a very strong man. His exercise system
emphasized the development of the core muscle groups (the spine,
abdominals, hips and lower back). Many famous male professional
athletes, such as Tiger Woods (professional golfer), Jason Kidd (NBA
basketball star), Curt Schilling (MLB pitcher) and Ruben Brown (NFL
offensive lineman), have added Pilates to their training programs, in
order to enhance their strength, coordination and flexibility by
developing these core muscle areas.
Seniors Pilates/GYROKINESIS: This class is
developed to restore the movement, strength, and flexibility needed by
seniors to carry out their normal daily activities. Pilates and
GYROKINESIS may also help alleviate some of the pain associated with
arthritis and sciatica. Exercises are done standing, seated and
lying down on Pilates and GYROTONIC equipment. Pilates and GYROKINESIS are one of the greatest tools
for keeping aging bodies ageless! |
